CEASOR’S STORY

Ceasor came to Village of Hope in 2010, that was when he got a smile on his face, because before then, his life was full of worries and misery due to the level of poverty he and his family was living in as a result of the war. 

Good Education, sufficient food, safe shelter, and available medical supply were just a myth, because the family couldn’t afford any of it, having been crippled by the war. Some days they would go hungry and the best they would get would be porridge for a meal. Thank God he was blessed with all of thatmore when he joined VOH.

Ceasor lived with his HIV positive mother who passed away. He moved in with an aunt but with 10 other kids under the same roof in a tiny hut, life got worse. He says he prayed hard for God to change this situation and that is when he was blessed to join VOH. He was rescued from the challenges

Who rescued him from all the challenges, like inadequate school fees, long distance walks from home to school, lack of uniforms, shoes, schoolbag to mention but a few. He joined VOH in P.3 2010, it was a dream come true, he continues to explain that from that day, he felt the true presence of God. He immediately knew that he was going to study hard and have a bright future, because at VOH, the sky is the limit.

Ceasor continues to say that while at VOH, he was equipped with all the tools he needed to succeed in every level, so he’s so thankful for the strong foundation VOH rooted in him.

Through VOH, he was natured spiritually, trained in different areas like sports, mentored into leadership, Counseled and guided to enhance his emotional stand, enlightened through education which made his life in A’level a success, resulting into being one of the best students during his final year in high school.

Ceasor says he is so thankful to God and VOH again for making such a huge difference in his life. He’s thankful to all our supporters, especially his sponsors who have worked tirelessly to support him in life.

Ceasor says he was doing farming during his school break, back at VOH, he was trained in tailoring, so he has been earning some money through that too.

His advice to the other students is that they should work hard, focus, ask God for guidance, believe in themselves and be respectful and the rest will follow.

Conclusively, Ceasor says VOH Uganda is raising great leaders for today and tomorrow and he is so blessed to be a part of it,
