BLESSED BEYOND MEASURE

I recall the Sunday several years ago, when i first heard Cindy Cunningham speak at our church about child sponsorship for The Village of Hope in Uganda . With just a small amount each month, we could make a difference in a child’s life . We could provide basic needs for a child as well as housing, trauma healing , education and spiritual nurturing. The Lord spoke to my heart and i jumped to sponsor a child. I remember getting a photo of my child …  a precious boy named Caesor. He was in 4th grade at the time and was such a handsome boy with beautiful big dark eyes. I would stare at his photo and i kept it by my bed so i could pray for him . i felt such love and compassion for him immediately .

A few months later, in April of 2011,  i joined a mission group with my church and traveled to Uganda to visit Village of Hope and meet Ceasor in person. He was so shy and quiet. I could not imagine the trauma this innocent, precious child had gone through.  What a blessing that he now had a loving home with Village of Hope, where he could learn that God loves him and has a plan and purpose for his life. I prayed earnestly for him and we wrote each other faithfully through the years. i shared photos of my family, friends and pets and he sent me a photo of himself often. I watched him grow physically, emotionally and spiritually I witnessed God at work in his life molding him to exemplify the attributes of Him.  i have encouraged Ceasor through letters, helped to guide him spiritually and prayed for him. He has the most amazing heart for the Lord. He is kind and gentle, humble and thankful. I am beyond proud of him.

Ceasor has now graduated University with a degree in IT. He now working in IT with Village of Hope and lives on campus with the staff What a praise!!! I am beyond proud of him and love him so much.

Ceasor changed my life, gave me a renewed love for Jesus and showed me that He truly answers prayer. Ceasor has blessed my life beyond measure. When i get a letter, i grin ear to ear and can’t wait to read it . I have quite a collection of letters i have kept thought the years. When i get discouraged, i pull them out and read them.

God is performing miracles daily in the lives of the children at VOH. He is healing and restoring them one by one. Please help pray and financially support and provide for these children. God will bless you beyond measure and your life will be changed forever. Mine certainly has been.
