Part Time Administrative Assistant in U.S.

Location: Dallas/Carrollton, TX (Remote with one in-office day/week)
Part-Time | 20-25 hours per week

Are you organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about supporting a mission that brings hope and healing to vulnerable children? We’re looking for a Part-Time Administrative Assistant to join our team!

This role supports our Executive and Associate Directors in a variety of administrative tasks and is ideal for someone who is a quick learner, a strong written communicator, and eager to contribute behind the scenes to life-changing work.

Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and recording deposits

  • Managing and updating our donor and child sponsorship databases

  • Assisting with sponsorship letters, email communication and social media

  • Fulfilling online store orders

  • Providing general administrative support as needed

What We’re Looking For:

  • Committed to the mission and vision of Village of Hope Uganda

  • Mature Christian faith, demonstrated by agreement with Village of Hope’s Statement of Faith

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field — or equivalent education and experience

  • Demonstrated proficiency in writing for multiple audiences and across multiple mediums

  • Self-starter and motivated team player — confident taking the lead on projects and humble enough to support others

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage multiple projects effectively

  • Dependable, resourceful, and teachable — open to feedback and always bringing a positive attitude

  • Adaptable to changing demands, deadlines, and priorities

  • Creative problem solver with strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy

  • Comfortable working with digital tools and willing to learn new systems

  • Previous experience on a short-term mission trip preferred

  • Must reside in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and be available to work in-office one day per week

  • Passionate about bringing hope to orphaned and vulnerable children in Uganda

  • Social media experience a plus.

This is a remote position with the exception of one day per week working in our Carrollton, TX office.
