Joseph Arop

Joseph joined VOH as our child sponsorship coordinator in Uganda in 2019. His family fled the North during the war and lived in Kampala where he was born, but his roots are in Acholiland.

“The love at VOH astounds me. It is love I personally never held to ever exist till I came here. Love that causes a person unknown to another to unconditionally give his or her time, money, thought, prayer and family is the love outrightly spoken of in 1 Corinthians 13. The love here is a typical example of what love God calls us to portray in John 15:13,14: Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. Village of Hope has practically helped me learn this lesson and this remarkably changed my perspective of live entirely. I believe God meant for me to be here.
